What are the different User Types?
Primary CSM
1. Primary CSM is the primary point of contact (POC) for that account.
2. One Account can have only one ’Primary CSM’.
3. One CSM can be a ’ Primary CSM’ for more than one account.
4. ’Primary CSM’ can perform read and write actions in the accounts assigned.
5. From the Admin portal when Playbooks are assigned to multiple / All accounts, it automatically gets assigned to the ’Primary CSM’.
6. If an account does not have a ’ Primary CSM’ assigned to it, it is considered as an unassigned account.
Extended Team
1. One Account can have any number of ‘Extended Team’.
2. One CSM can be an ‘Extended Team’ for more than one account.
3. ‘Extended Team’ can perform read and write actions in the accounts assigned.
4. A ‘Read-Only’ user can be assigned as an ‘Extended Team’ for any accounts.
Extended Team View Only
1. One Account can have any number of ‘Extended Team View Only’.
2. One CSM can be an ‘Extended Team View Only’ for more than one account.
3.‘Extended Team View Only’ have view only and not write access to the accounts the CSM is assigned to.
4. ’ Primary CSM’or ‘Extended Team’of an account cannot be assigned as ‘Extended Team View Only’.
5. A ‘Read-Only’ user can be assigned as an ‘Extended Team View Only’ for any accounts.
Read-Only User
1. When a user is assigned as a ‘Read-Only’ user, the user has read-only access to all the accounts in the S4 instance.
2. A ‘Read-Only’ user can not be assigned as a ’ Primary CSM’ for any accounts.
